We Cannot Command Nature Except By Obeying Her
Although this speech does not address ethical jewelry specifically, it does articulate a viewpoint that deeply informs the ethos behind my work to create a jewelry supply chain that recognizes certain intrinsic truths — too often ignored.

Victor Hugo, l'autore di Les Miserables, una volta ha scritto: “Come triste pensare che la natura parla e l'uomo non ascolta.”
Siamo qui oggi per tentare di avere un dialogo non solo tra gli Stati, ma anche con la natura. Anche se spesso ci si dimentica che, gli esseri umani sono una forza della natura. In reality, siamo tutti un prodotto dello stesso Big Bang che creò l'universo, anche se alcuni solo vedere legna per il fuoco quando camminano attraverso la foresta.
Queste tre domande sono il punto di partenza per la nostra discussione di oggi:
Primo, qual è la natura? E 'una cosa, una fonte di risorse, un sistema, una casa, una comunità di esseri viventi e interdipendenti?
Secondo, Ci sono delle regole in natura? Ci sono leggi naturali che governano la sua integrità, interrelazioni, riproduzione e trasformazione?

Per l'economia verde, errore del capitalismo non è che hanno adottato la natura come parte del capitale. È per questo che la sua proposta centrale è quello di creare “ecologico” imprese e posti di lavoro verdi e in questo modo limitare il degrado ambientale portando le leggi del capitalismo a sopportare sulla natura.
In altre parole, la trasfusione delle regole del mercato sarà salvare la natura.

Nature is ruthless when it goes ignored.
It is incredible that it is easier to imagine the destruction of nature than to dream about overthrowing capitalism.
Albert Einstein said, “The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.”
We have not come here to watch a funeral.
