The Beauty of Ecologically Created Tahitian Pearls from the Kamoka Pearl Farm in Tahiti.
John Humbert, of Kamoka Pearls, has for many years been pioneering a radical new method of growing Tahitian pearls that actually supports aquatic life. Many pearl farms end up creating underwater deserts, and Josh’s approach is influencing other pearl growers to modify their methods.
In addition to being involved in the jewelry trade, Josh is also a National Geographic photographer. This inspiring short National Geographic video documents this remarkable project. See his personal website: www.joshhumbert.com for more information about his work.
For more information on how to purchase these beautiful gems, see the Kamoka Pearl Farm.
