Story Bridge TV – Chronicling Anonymous Angels Jewelry Co-Op in Peru

Katy Sai of Story Bridge TV, an independent documentary production company, contacted us after visiting our website. After looking over their videos on the work done by the Anonymous Angels Co-op in Peru, we wanted to share their work with our readers. They’re inspiring for both the consumer and the greater jewelry trade. In Katy’s words: “They’re quite moving and a great example of how a socially responsible company can make a difference. Make sense?”

Well, we think so.

Anonymous Angels is not a huge company. They are sponsored by Fair Indigo a retailer of Fair Trade clothing and an outlet for many other Fair Trade items. Fair Indigo has demonstrated a dedication to Fair Trade concepts as they currently stand and we hope they will continue to as the concept of Fair Trade grows and expands.

While at the moment Anonymous Angels is manufacturing nice and simple jewelry on the lower end of the jewelry spectrum, they are providing valuable skills to these artisans who may one day become recognized artists in their own right.
